PICNIC

SCREENPRINTING

The CCTV picnic it's a very special project for me. The First Original work was made it back in 2010 and was my first absolutely stencil on canvas. That was the only one copy.

Now after many years, I'm extremely happy to release this requested screen print in a limited edition of only 30 copies.

It's come in three version Black/Blue, Black/Yellow and Black/Red with one oil paint colour hand finish (respectively on the corresponded background colour).

Most of my prints are in "Limited Varied Edition", that means the are in a FIXED NUMBER of an edition where each print is INTENTIONALLY SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT.

My inspiration was the "1984" George Orwell's book, in this case, a family makes a picnic under a not quite normal tree, but a CCTV tree. This symbolizes constantly that generation as our under observation from someone outside, someone above us, someone who wants to be in charge.

If you looking for the first original work, have a look this page but sorry it's not available to buy, instead if you like it you can have it in a different size, print in fine art paper and canvases ONLY at SaatchiArt.com .

Thank You
